There is an exciting opportunity for people volunteering and working in community settings in Leitrim happening this October. Leitrim Development Company will host Community Development in Practice, a course delivered by Rachel Doyle from Community Work Ireland. Both she and Community Work Ireland have vast experience in community development, working with diverse groups and communities throughout Ireland over many yearsThis course is free and open to people and groups who want to gain practical community development skills such as developing their group structures, values, aim etc., exploring effective planning, and how to develop and implement successful projects.The first session will take place on Tuesday the 3rd Oct from 7pm to 9pm via Zoom. The course will consist of weekly two-hour online sessions for three weeks via Zoom.
